Find Near Me asks for browser geolocation permission only when you initiate a GPS-based search. You may instead select a city or map location without sharing your device's GPS. To retrieve real places, the search coordinates and selected category or query are sent to the Find Near Me Cloudflare Pages Function, which requests information from Geoapify Places API (based on OpenStreetMap data). These services may process request data under their respective privacy policies. Coordinates may be rounded and search responses cached to reduce repeat requests. The site does not maintain user account or location-history databases.
The interactive map loads tiles from OpenFreeMap. If you click Google Maps search or directions, you open a separate website, where that provider's privacy policies apply. When you use voice search, the browser or operating system speech recognition feature may send audio to its speech service. You can always search by typing.
Favorites, search-result cache, and language/theme preferences may be stored locally in your browser. You can remove them using browser site-data controls. Site analytics or advertising providers, if later activated, may use additional data as described by their policies and required consents. AdSense is not guaranteed to be active merely because scripts or ads.txt exist.
